Welcome in the heart of Provence, welcome in Pont Royal ! 

Pont Royal golf resort, in Mallemort half way between Avignon and Aix en Provence, is ideally situated between the Alpilles and Luberon. The area, about 180 hectars, is closed, secure and offers many services and activities. Golf de Pont Royal (18 and 9 holes) offers an exceptional golf practice. Designed by Severiano Ballesteros, it is close from touristic attractions, like the lovely provencal villages in Luberon (Gordes, Senanque, Lourmarin, Rousillon, Menerbes – that Peter Mayle liked so much!), Saint Remy de Provence and Baux de Provence. Sea and beaches at around 45mn by car (Cassis, Les Calanques, Bandol). 

The Pierre et Vacances holidays facilities within the domain offer multiple sports and animations possibilities: golf, tennis, horse riding, swimming pools (incl waves pool and a « wild river » for rafting), making it an ideal place for restful and successful and family holidays !.

Our villa:

With its south west orientation, the terrace and private pool bath all day long in the sun. The view from the top of a small hill is of pine woodlands, the Luberon hills and the small Provencal village of Pont Royal. The property is not overlooked and both the garden and pool have shade in the day provided by the pine trees. The seclusion is perfect!

Independent villa with 105 m2 floor area, 500 m2 ground size, with private pool and 2 large terraces. Suitable for up to 6 persons. Recent villa built in 2005. It features a large 50m2 living room/dining room/open kitchen on the ground floor, 3 bedrooms (2 with a 160cm large double bed, and one room with 2X 90cm single beds), 2 toilets, one bathroom on the first floor.

Villa is very well equipped with everything you can expect from modern comfort. This includes a fully equipped kitchen incl wash machine, dish washer, internet Wifi, new air conditioned in all rooms, newly furbished bathroom etc. For your car a lockable garage + external parking slot are available.

Ideally situated close to the village (300m) but still very quiet with direct proximity to the golf, tennis, horse riding activities (extra charge), grocery, bakery, international newspapers; all that you need to enjoy the sun and the charms of Provence !.

Prices, availability:

We rent our villa on a weekly basis, from Saturday to Saturday (we have some level of flexibility here outside peak summer period). You can book:

  • either directly without by contacting us via email vincent.fontaine@gmx.de or tel# +49 159 0124 3523 meaning without service fee markup, with better payment term, and 150 EUR rebate for 2+ weeks,
  • or on line from Homeaway or  Airbnb but price here will include a ~ 15% markup vs our direct price, and not the 200 EUR discount we grant for 2 consecutive weeks. In other word, you can save up to 800 EUR by contacting us directly for a 2 weeks stay in high season !.

Our prices below include all charges:

  • swimming pool cleaning (twice a week)
  • garden cleaning
  • electricity, water and other charges
  • air conditioning
  • taxes
  • locked garage + an external private parking slot
  • bed washes and towels for 6 persons
  • Internet high speed + Wifi
  • LCD TV with some english programs
  • Beds prepared upon your arrival

Who are we ?

Originally from Avignon but living since 20 years in Germany, we purchased this villa for our pension, but also to spend wonderful holidays, and make sure our children can discover the uniqueness of Provence. It was always designed for our own pleasure, but also for the pleasure of the few privileged guests we welcome every year. Hoping to welcome you soon !.
